No one wants to talk to him usually anyway.
So he's got me.
So I can't leave him alone like that.
Uh, now I never really thought about it too much.
Uh, I was really surprised by, I mean, there's a lot of
you have a lot of thoughts, a lot of emotions that you kind of deal with in moments like that.
And I don't know, it's really hard to explain it all, but one of the thoughts I did not have was not coaching.
That was really not a thought.
And if I had, my wife pretty much was telling me like, oh, you're still coaching.
You're not gonna be hanging around the house here at any point in time for the next year.
So just plan on finding another job.
So that helped make my decision.

You know, my dad's theory on that, Jim asked him the advice one time about, like, you know, how long do you coach, Dad?
You know, when do you know it's done?
And my dad always felt like he probably got out of it a little bit too early.
You know, he stayed with Tom at Marquette there for a few years and helped him out.
