I think by the mid part of the season, I think we had our three buys in the first 13 or 14 rounds of the competition.
We played a number of the teams that at that time were at the bottom of the ladder.
A couple of them we played twice, two or three of them we played twice.
We were going along nicely, but that doesn't mean winning doesn't mask out weaknesses that you've got in your team.
Coaches were looking for certain standards from certain players.
Now, I'm not here to talk about individual players or talk about decisions were made around selections and those types of things.
And you know as well as I do, coaches love winning.
That's the whole name of the game is to win.
And they don't make any decisions if they don't think they're going to make the team better or if they don't think,
they're going to get a better result out of what they're doing.
That's just suddenly changed teams for no reason.
So the reasons behind that, we don't talk about, or I have never, ever talked about players that we've released or players that, you know, we've moved out of the team or that sort of thing at different stages.
I mean, we love them all.
And if you're talking about Reid Marnie and Toby Sexton, love them.
They're great blokes.
They did good jobs for us, you know.
But, you know, there were backstories to both of those decisions that were in the club at the time.
The Galvin situation was just a great opportunity.
It was an outstanding young player who became available mid-season.
That very, very rarely happens.
