They're looking for the future of the party and saying, what will Republicans believe in 2028?

And their argument is that

Any definition of conservatism has to include robust limitations on abortion.

And previously, a lot of Republicans were very successful in saying, hey, you know, we want to overturn Roe v. Wade.

And that was sort of the consensus.

And so this is going to be a fascinating, fascinating fight that is going to tell us a lot about the identity of the new American right.
