They never thought, they were not betting on that.

This is all way above their original arc internally when they were building this out.

But it doesn't change the fact that they think they've built something that can have a decade plus of success.

of sustainability and taken a number of swings on it.

They've signed most of their quarter long-term deals that are going to look more and more reasonable as the cap continues to go up for one.

And they're young.

They have two different goalies that you think they're going to be able to rely on.

And Dovis and Fowler, Fowler might be the guy actually that has more ceiling there.

So there's lots to like, but as they are currently constructed, you're seeing some of their flaws.

And one is that

Nick Suzuki's our only offensive center.

And so they got away with it against Tampa and Buffalo.

Gildan always played his brains out.

But Jake Evans centering the second line with the very talented Ivan Demidov exposes their biggest flaw right now.

So, you know, eventually Michael Hage will be there perhaps to fill that.

Not anytime soon.

He's going back to college.

Or do they take a big swing here this offseason?

And that's what I think will happen.

It doesn't mean they'll get it done, but
