You know, it's like we're almost becoming cynical in love and pushing back against these ideas of finding the one and questioning that and going like, you know, maybe my soulmate is my best friend or whatever.
Maybe I'm happy on my own.
So I think that's really fascinating that like every couple of hundred years there is a bit of a cultural shift and change of, yeah, of like actually I fucking have hated this and this is actually ruined.
the way that I have entered into relationships and my mental health and maybe my ideas of what a relationship should look like.
And, you know, we've spoken about it before in episodes of Pit where it's, especially now on TikTok, so many things of people being like, if it's not love, if love isn't this, then you don't deserve it.
Like, you know, this is the pedestal.
And I think that people are just exhausted.
And it's like, well, maybe I do just want to live on my own for the rest of my life.
Or maybe I do just want to have my best friends.
Or maybe I do just want,
a partner that gives me financial stability or helps me in X, Y, Z, but I'm getting my like sex and love and connection in other places.
And hearing so many different perspectives, right?
Like we're hearing from so many of our queer friends and seeing that they are
are creating relationships and dynamics and ideas around love that has completely, you know, changed maybe the rigid ideas that we've thought about when it comes to heterosexuality.
And then on top of that, we've got heterofatalism, which is, you know, women feeling really pessimistic about hetero dating.
And yeah, it's just so fascinating because there's so much kind of bubbling.
But I think it is a really strong backlash against the romantic era.
