I think the best thing would be for the Patriots to lose by five touchdowns, coming off Belichick getting snubbed and Robert Kraft getting snubbed.

That would be a great week for me, knowing that franchise.

Ray, with all of the connections that have been used on coaches that are now on this staff under Mike McCarthy, and we can get to those guys in a little bit, do you think that quarterback has a better chance of being Garrett Nussmeier because he does have a connection to Mike McCarthy?

there wouldn't be like sky-high expectations.

It would be more along the lines of what happened with Will Howard last year, but probably a couple of rounds earlier.

So, yeah, Nussmeier would be a possibility.

Well, Ray, you bring up sky-high expectations, and I can't help but bring up what has happened here with Will Howard because the hype around him has just reached a level that can't return to home base.

It's gotten ridiculous.

Ray, the guy got drafted 185 overall, and people think he's going to stroll out there and look like Ben Roethlisberger in 2004.

I mean, it just feels very unrealistic.

So I just have to pick up when you say the expectations should be low if it's somebody like Nussmeier.

Don't worry, the fan base will certainly make those expectations high, and hell, the coaches might even do it too because they did that with Will Howard a week ago.
