Yeah, I mean, the questions around Rasheed Rice, they're not going to get clarified for us for a while.

The situation is so unique.

There's just not really a precedent for a guy with him, which, you know, shout out to Rasheed Rice for continuing to do things in Kansas City that make us scratch our heads.

But I think the thing that jumps out to me the most about the wide receiver room right now is just they don't have a person that's a volume player.

Taequann Thornton, his role is valuable and hopefully he's able to continue to stay on the field as he was kind of put into witness protection about halfway through for some reason.

and Xavier Worthy at that size he's just not a guy that you can really funnel the offense through Travis Kelsey used to be that guy and I think going back to the early part of the 2024 season where Rice got off to that really hot start against the Ravens and the Falcons we saw this offense start to transition from a Travis Kelsey offense to a Rasheed Rice offense and then the entry happens and the suspension happens and

We've just not really seen it.

And right now, the Chiefs offense doesn't have a receiving option that can be that volume type of player where they can get 10, 12 targets in a game and catch double-digit passes in a game.

And I certainly don't think that that's Cyrus Allen's game.

And that's not including just what we've seen from rookie wide receivers in the first year.

I definitely think the room needs some upgrades.

I'm not sure where that's coming from, though.

Obviously, they restructured George Karloftis today, but that's really probably just to sign the rookie class more than anything.

I think if you're talking about guys who are a natural replacement for Rice, Deebo Samuel's name comes to mind.

He's still on the market.

Maybe it's Keenan Allen, who's a veteran who's going to keep his nose clean and just be able to take on some of that volume.
