Okay.
I'm 32 weeks pregnant.
Tell me what I should prepare myself for going into labor.
I think the number one thing, and I've only given birth one time, but I know some people make birth plans.
I don't know.
And I think that's great, but I don't know how you could possibly follow a birth plan because you get in there and there's so many unknowns.
For example, you don't know how fast your contractions are going to move.
You don't know, um, if your epidural is going to work or if it's not going to work and you don't know how long you're going to push for.
But I do think you can have an idea around, you know, I want my husband to cut the umbilical cord.
Um,
I think you can write down certain things, but I do think once you get in there, it's pretty funny.
It's pretty fire flight mode kicks in.
And it's just like, if I, so I don't write down a birth plan at all.
I just say, I just have confidence in my body.
I can tell you this, your body knows what to do and it will be tough.
But like you are why like women are wired to do this so your body can handle it.
The doctors and the nurses are incredible.
So there's no point being nervous.
But just know like you can't control what happens.
And at the end of it, you get this beautiful baby.
