And as long as the data, as we were discussing, as long as that data that is not shared with us
is simply not shared because it was collected by classified sensors or because it exposes some vulnerabilities of the U.S.
defense system, that's completely understandable.
But that would not apply to old data.
For example, if you deal with 50 years ago, whatever was relevant back then is not relevant today.
And so I very much hope that we can push government to share with us everything that is not relevant right now for national security.
And I think that would be a relatively big data set.
And the other thing is, if some parts of government are not aware of other parts that somehow we learn about, then we can ask for that information that may expedite the process of declassification and disclosure.
So that's where we are.
I mean, it's not as if we are given an opportunity to change the system.
It's not like they're asking us whether we want to see classified data.
They're just presenting the situation as is.
But I will, of course, represent the council in front of the UAP governing board.
And perhaps I will have the opportunity to
comment on what we might want to see and help declassify some information that previously was not transparent.
Well, on that issue, there is an initiative right now, and Representative Luna mentioned it, Representative Burleson in particular was asked by Stephen Miller in the White House
crafted together a protection for whistleblowers, a legal protection that would allow them to come forward.
So I think both lawmakers and the White House are working on that.
What I wanted to convey is that there is a sense of cooperation here.
That's what we should celebrate.
