So we know that cosmic rays exist.
We know that satellites now exist.
You have to worry about cosmic rays and satellites in any data you collect nowadays with telescopes.
And any astronomer will tell you that.
I did not invent this wheel.
Just speak with any observer and they will tell you that they see cosmic rays in any observation of the sky.
They see that.
This is a fact.
So when Avi Loeb says this is a source of noise,
you shouldn't be upset about it because it's a source of noise it's a fact this is not my invention i just pointed out that this is a source of noise and the anti-correlation with geomagnetics activity is a signature of cosmic rays so you have to worry about it and so then everyone got upset that i even mentioned that so it would have been better if i didn't say i mean would the cosmic rays go away if i didn't mention them
The only way to respond to that is to basically ask, how can we distinguish cosmic rays from real transients?
And that's the way to proceed.
And if one has a good argument, then it just strengthens the case.
Because cosmic rays do exist.
They do contaminate the signals that we detect.
We have to discuss them and move on.
And if they are confusing the subject, then, of course, we need to recognize that.
But if not, then the argument is even stronger when we can dismiss them
as being the specific events that we talk about now the other thing that was brought up in the third release was a cia report from 1992 talking about the u2 flights that in the late 1950s
uh were confused half of the ufo reports according to this cia report half of the ufo reports are associated with u2 airplanes and the government was not transparent on that because they didn't want the public to be aware of u2 airplanes so you can imagine u2 airplanes producing a glint
