Yeah, so like pre-12, okay, pre-12 years of age, I'm like, oh, I actually was just a kid, you know, so yeah, forgiveness for a little Katrina was much easier than teenage Katrina, 21-year-old Katrina who had an abortion ray, like was in Trinity, was getting all these, yeah, it's easy in some places.
And like, let's be real, like we live in a world that teaches everybody that they're responsible for their own lives.
We live in a meritocracy, a world that says from the very start of school, work hard and you can be whatever you want to be.
The opposite of that is if you don't achieve it, it's because of something you didn't do.
You know, you don't escape that when you realize that you were hurt as a kid.
You still got loud messages from the world that says, if you fail, it's because you didn't take your opportunities.
So that is a battle that's constantly there with people.
I think it's not like as easy as going.
And that's why I ended up like this, because everybody's telling us.
all the time, that you can choose to be better.
And I literally couldn't choose to be better.
And I think I needed to understand that fully before I was able to then go, actually, you know, I couldn't have done any better.
I actually, I think staying alive and not killing myself was a really successful thing for me.
