So this is gone because the anonymous assessor now, they read the grant on their desk.
They don't know who the others are, submit their score.
And the score is just mathematically averaged.
So there is no debate.
There is no accountability.
of the individual assessors.
Well, we will not know because now the quality is questioned.
So we don't trust anymore the judgment of those grants because there is no way to hold accountable and to have a panel discussion about those grants.
So that's where the issue is.
No, no, of course not.
And it didn't happen at the NHMRC.
Until 2020, we have these panels and it was excellent.
And it happens, still happens at the NIH.
And one could have done Zoom panels where people can still interact.
And what about the MRC in Britain?
I'm not sure about the MRC.
But in general, the majority of institutions do have panels to allow to elaborate.
