I'm furious, CiarΓ‘n.
I'm absolutely furious listening to it.
It's like this constant overspending and blowing of money when you have people in wheelchairs out protesting to get a decent
just to get something to be able to manage and live.
People with disabilities that can't go out and work and stuff, do you know what I mean?
Protesting out on streets to get, just to get a cost of living, just to get something to be able to live.
And you have them blowing 50 million.
To me, it's like, you know, the services this could have provided, the things this could have done for, not just for people with disabilities, for elderly people, for pensioners.
Do you know, it blows my mind because I actually remember
I think it was about two months ago, the opposition called on government to set up a separate kind of, say, entity or group or whatever to oversee all public spending, to stop the waste and the basically ridiculous spending, right?
They absolutely point blank refused.
Then it trickles down from government into town to council, right?
I'm not going to say which council.
They're not doing their job.
They're not doing their job.
Because even that bike shed, that β¬350,000 bike shed, it actually came out, I think it was only recently I heard it, and it was actually on RTE1, I radio-heard it, that the amount of quotes that actually came in for that bike shed, one as low as β¬50,000, which would have done exactly the same, and they went for the highest one saying they wanted the best of the best.
It's ridiculous.
Who, I would say, who is signing these off?
