Oakley went up to him, allowing him to pick her up.

She was probably desperate for any sort of human connection since it seems that she so rarely got it from her parents.

He said though that when he picked her up, he noticed that she looked like she was wearing makeup around her eyes and mouth, which had obviously been applied by an adult.

It's not like she got into her mom's makeup and smeared it on her face.

He also noticed that there was a line on her face that went from her bottom lip to her chin, which did look like a bruise.

So putting two and two together, it looked like her parents applied makeup to her face to try and cover that bruise.

After this brief interaction with Oakley, he left the house and said that he didn't return until later in the day.

That was the very last time he ever saw Oakley.

Shortly after returning back home, both Tennessee and Roan stopped at Roan's mom's work to visit her.

But while there, Roan seemed very rushed and frantic.

He spoke briefly with his mom, then left in a hurry.

After that, Tennessee dropped Roan off and then went on his own to hang out with Roan's older brother, with whom he was good friends.

During that time, the brother also got a call from their mom, which made him very upset.

Tennessee said that on the call, he said to her, I don't know what the F you have going on, but you all need to deal with it.

After hanging up the phone, the brother wouldn't tell Tennessee what the call was about and became distant pretty much the rest of the day.

at some point after that tennessee actually admitted that after he left that morning he got a call from madison saying that something happened and he needed to bring the dodge durango back i guess he had been using it at the time it seemed like all the roommates would trade off using the car they all shared it essentially when he returned home he said that roan was still frantic saying that he effed up

Neither of the children were present in the home at that time.

Then both he and Madison left the home for several hours.

So I'm not exactly sure when Roan went with Tennessee to his mom's work.

I'm assuming that was earlier in the morning before Tennessee left for the day or maybe it was at some point after.
