It was one of those big bouncy balls that had a handle on top which kids can sit on and bounce around on, but it was a bit too big for Oakley and she didn't really understand how to use it yet.
Again, she was only two.
Madison said that she then went into the living room to check things out and saw that Rowan was standing over Oakley as she was trying her best to sit on the ball and bounce.
He noticed Madison standing there, then went back and sat on the couch, telling her to go back to the kitchen.
She did just that, and for the next ten minutes, things were quiet.
But then, suddenly, Rowan screamed for Madison, a scream that was much more urgent than anything she has heard before.
It was about 1.30pm by that point.
After hearing the scream, she ran into the living room but was met in the hallway with Roan as he held Oakley in his arms.
She was not moving and was completely unresponsive.
Roan just kept repeating that he didn't do anything and that this wasn't his fault.
Roan then stripped Oakley of her clothes and Madison watched as she gasped for air.
By that point, blood had started coming out of her mouth, causing a gurgling sound in the back of her throat as she tried to breathe.
Roan then tried putting her in the bathtub, submerging her in cold water in hopes of getting a response from her, but that didn't work.
So Roan wrapped her in a pink and black blanket and put her on the bed.
Madison said that she tried calling 911 because she thought Oakley was dying, but Roan knocked the phone out of her hands and hung it up.
This actually was later confirmed by officers.
A cell phone belonging to Roan, which Madison was known to frequently use, called 911 at 1.41 PM on February 9th, but the call was hung up before the operator got a chance to answer.
The operator attempt to ping the location, but was unsuccessful.
After trying to call 911, they called their roommate, Tennessee, asking him to come back with the car.
When he returned home, he apparently didn't see Oakley but knew that something was wrong.
