Like what would, you know, a veteran, whether you like him or not, whether you like his experience or not, what would he do with the team?
Maybe just gather ideas.
But if we're talking about serious links, I'm with you.
It's a very surprising name to pop up.
And if you're talking about managing in a Canadian market, there is a difference between Ottawa and Vancouver.
There absolutely is.
And I think the other question you have to ask, Vic, is did he excel in managing that Canadian market?
In my opinion, if you look at his media, you know, you look at some of the conversations that were had, I don't think Pierre Dorian did that great of a job in terms of, you know, interacting with the media.
That's one of the big capacities.
But a general manager, I remember hosting at the time when the Travis Hamanick deal happened.
Who paid that draft pick for Hamanick at that time?
I don't think a lot of general managers across the league would have done that.
Pierre Dorian did.
So there's a number of other moves as well, but as a Canucks analyst, as somebody in this city, that's the one that kind of stands out to me because you and all of us didn't think there was much of a market out there, given Hamannik's recent history at that point and some of the question marks that were coming up.
