With the Chilliwack Chiefs, he didn't have that.
But what's interesting is his clutch game ability.
He scored eight game winners this year, which speaks to, you know, doesn't shy away from the moment.
The other aspect is the playoff goals, right?
Like when you're trailing
In terms of goals in the playoffs with, you know, Caleb had 13, Linderoff had 18.
I think Brian Bellows had 14.
Also a very high skilled player back in his day.
That tells you something.
Now, the question I have, Jason, is the when you started off with the point you started off with.
what is the OHL compared to four or five years ago?
How do we look at these numbers?
And, you know, I think saying Caleb Malhotra is a very good player is not wrong.
He is a very good player, but when we're talking about, you know, in relation to a chase read in relation to a Keaton Verhoff, who got players who are, you know, playing at a different level, obviously, you know, I think with,
Especially with Verhoff, who's obviously doing the collegiate level.
You've got individuals that are able to play...
um and i know chase reed played ohl hockey but his profile is a little different and his trajectory is different too remember he played in the ushl he's got two years in the ohl with caleb he doesn't have that sample size yet so i think you know that's why you see a bit of a risk because next year he's going to be you next year we're going to know how good he is unfortunately the draft is in june this year so it is a bit of a like from looking at the outside from the
outside in you know it is something that you wonder but like you know this is where you have to trust your list this is where the scouts that have been on the road watching him in brantford like you have to trust that and those reports that are coming in so you know an interesting one i think high character obviously high skill high motor a very intelligent player but what does that mean in the current ohl compared to four or five seasons ago i don't think we can answer that right now
Yeah, this one is interesting because I'm, you know, I agree with you, Jason.
I didn't think it was a shock, right?
