So he's loved, like he is loved, but he's living in a world that has changed quite rapidly and things that he would have taught and would have thought nothing about teaching or things he would ask the class to do is being questioned.

Not because of any badness, like the things that he's teaching are completely fine and normal, but it's just the new world we live in.
