Yes.
The first female president of Ireland.
And I remember her giving that speech about putting the candle in the window and the diaspora.
And there was a real sense of nation.
You see, I remember learning that in geography.
A state is a geographical identity and a nation is a group of people.
And of course, as a state, we're quite small, but as a nation, we're all over the world and probably punch way above our weight, a lot more influence than you would think.
And they're a part of the Irish nation in Australia and in Canada and America and England and all over the world.
And remember back in the day, on one of those quiet days, we decided we'd see if we could get in contact.
