There's a picture on the cover of one of the weekend magazines.

It was the tick in the Irish Times and the Foo Fighters are there and they're all men of a certain age.

There's David Grohl and the lads.

And it's a full-length picture so you can see all their shoes.

And Jenny said to me, look at their shoes now and see if there's anything that suits you.

Because they're all in around your age.

Now that's not fair on them because they're a good bit younger than me.

So David Grohl himself, he is some well-worn black Doc Martin boots.

Then there's a pair of black runners.

Then there's two pairs, what look like desert boots.

Then there's those tan-coloured mock-toe boots.

I had a pair of those when I was about 15.

I remember wearing them down to the sea wide to a disco.

And then there's a pair of checkered van, they're little slip-on shoes.

I don't think any of those would suit me.

I've a good few pairs of black runners.

Yeah, black runners probably.

I'm probably a black runners man.

And coincidentally or oddly, the youngest of the Foo Fighters is wearing the black runners.
