To me, it's a lack of structure and communication in management and that stuff always flows downhill.
It always flows there.
It confuses decisions.
You lose clarity as to who's in charge.
You lose a direction as to what are they actually trying to accomplish.
All of those things, if Keith Pelley, who now doesn't have a hockey president, decides to get involved at the deadline with another analytical guy that's not been around the team in the discussions, it makes no sense.

You know what became really clear noodles out of that article was people that think this is a short turnaround, they're in the wrong lane.
It's just not going to be.
I think those guys, we might have mentioned this before, I think the players like that.
Sometimes I don't believe they understand how large their impact is.
It's outsized to anybody else on the team.
Of course, they're playing because they're better.
They're great players.
They can do special things.
But the way they carry themselves, everybody's kind of got one eye on them all the time when you're that type of player.
