It's Aaron Rodgers.
Nothing he would do would surprise anybody, really.
But listen to this.
From our friend and yours, the big boy, the man that you did some pregame stuff with, didn't you, Donnie?
He wrote a column for the Pat McAfee Show that says things like this.
Not only do the Steelers want Rodgers to be their starting quarterback, but officials within the organization believe Rodgers wants to continue playing.
Despite telling the McAfee Show last year he was going to retire after this season.
At this point, Big Boy writes, the Steelers believe Rodgers will return.
They want him to return and expect to hear something definitive before free agency on March 11th.
That'll allow the oldest player in the NFL a little time to definitively make that decision.
Meanwhile, Mike McCarthy went on the flagship over there and said of Rodgers, reiterated, quote, I hope he's coming back.
Bob Pompeiani thinks this is kind of a big smokescreen or something, that this isn't going to happen, Donnie.
I'm convinced it is.
And the hiring of James Campin figures in here, too.
I think Schefter reran an old tweet from...
Rogers, an old social media post, saying that Campen was like a mentor to him, one of the most important people in his football career.
Listen, I'm not going to be shocked if he doesn't play, but all signs are pointing to this guy coming back, right?
Yeah, I mean, it certainly feels that way.
