Your thoughts on Patrick Graham.
They had a Super Bowl-winning defensive coordinator and some other guys with, quite frankly, better resumes than Patrick Graham.
I'm referring to Raheem Morris, who beat Joe Burrow in a Super Bowl as the Rams defensive coordinator.
Were there better choices out here?
Assuming he's going to be the guy.
It's not final yet.
Were there better choices, and what do you think of Patrick Graham?
Well, respectfully, what makes you think it will be fine?
Because his resume is pretty bad, Patrick Graham, and he's walking into a situation where he's going to inherit the highest paid defense in the NFL and the expectation right away is to win playoff games.
I don't have any real reason to be confident in him.
I know, but he's been at three stops as a defensive coordinator, three of them.
He was last in the league in Miami.
He was 23rd in the league in his last year with the Giants and then the Raiders.
I get it, maybe those are three rough stops, but his resume as a defensive coordinator, simply looking at the numbers is objectively bad.
ray you mentioned to the guys yesterday afternoon that mike mccarthy is going to be allowed to expand the coaching staff a little bit so we are going to see physically more coaches uh is that so you're pretty confident in that uh we're already kind of seeing that they're going to interview jari evans uh who is a borderline hall of famer he's down to i believe the finalist for the class year of 2026. now
Clarify, if you can, that would be as the assistant offensive line coach, right?
Because they already have Campin coming in here.
Donnie, may I engage Ray in a game of free association or do you have a burning question you'd like to ask first?
