You know, teams were getting rid of the ball.
We've, we've talked about that at length this year, but under TJ Watts expectations, his own expectations, he had a down season.
So maybe you run it back, see if he can get back to who he was.
Maybe that, that new coach they hire is going to want that type of leader and presence on his team.
But,
I think it's a very fair discussion at this point, pre-head coach, post-head coach hire, that TJ Watt's going to be talked about as a trade candidate for the next couple of weeks.
Absolutely.
And he's one of those guys that the new head coach is going to have to evaluate.
I think he was kind of pigeonholed by Arthur Smith.
And I think even by Mike, because Mike called him a zone buster, he's kind of pigeonholed as a receiver that really didn't match up against man or what wouldn't be as productive against man.
And not that John Smith was, but they just for the contract that he has, I think like 12, 13 million a year, whatever it is, they're not getting enough out of him for that contract.
So for their own sake, and maybe for Pat's sake, they have to figure out how he fits with the new head coach.
So he's another guy who talked on Locker Cleanout Day.
I was there for the first time.
I thought he was really honest.
He was thoughtful in what he said.
But he did admit that he was frustrated with his opportunities next year.
And he wants more on his plate next season if he's here.
Kenny was terrific this year, team MVP.
I do think he fits well with him probably any type of offense.
