You know, I think Cam isn't really a trade candidate.
He's either going to retire or move on to another team or come back if the new head coach wants him.
But he's a guy who was unhappy with his contract last year at this time.
He's not going to be happy this time around after being named all pro again.
So that's a domino that has to fall.
And I think the biggest one, Donnie, it's the elephant in the room.
It's what do you do with TJ Watt?
And I've been in the locker room or at the podium after every bad loss this season, including Monday night.
And I can't remember specifically some of the others, but TJ was so โ
um looking for like downtrodden this year defeated almost um i don't know if you guys i'm sure you guys have heard the audio from monday night but if you saw him if you saw the video and just the way he was responding to the questions i think he's frustrated as heck at what's going on here and i just wonder does he want to be here for a reset if that's what happens or
With him turning 32 next year, does he maybe want to move on to a team that has a chance to win the Super Bowl?
Yeah, I mean, I don't think you get a first round pick anymore for a guy who's going to turn 32 in October.
So I think maybe the best you could hope for is like a high second-round pick.
If you find a team that has a decent second-round pick, maybe you get that, maybe like a second and a fourth, something like that.
In terms of being a bad contract, I mean, you can't predict the future, Joe.
I mean, I guess you can say, hey, he's into his 30s now.
This might not work out.
But TJ has performed or had performed at such a high level that you wouldn't think
that he would have had the drop off that he had this season.
And it wasn't all his fault.
