I was brought to so many protests as a kid because my mum taught me that you should be able to fight for your rights, fight for your future.
I don't see anything wrong with that.

Yes, Finglas is very much home to me.
I was listening on the way home.
And when I got home, I decided I'd bring you Ciara.
50 years I'm here and I've never had one problem.
My husband lived here, lived in Finglas before that, and his whole family, a lovely family, done very well to themselves and have had no problems.
Now, Lifeline is great for giving a perspective on things, but I don't think there's a balance today.
Insofar as smaller areas will have less people giving trouble because of smaller amounts, and Finglas might have more because of bigger amounts.
And in my opinion, there's a lot of people I might have disagreed with, but they're entitled to their opinion and I respect that.
But Finglas to me has been one lovely place and I have been privileged to meet some lovely people.
And going into shopping centres like Shopping Finglas, I haven't had one bother.
And not because I'm a lucky person, but because I've met nice people.
