So I almost thought like, oh, this will never happen to mom and dad.
But, you know, looking at their relationship in retrospect, I was like, I wasn't surprised.
Like these are two people who are not in love anymore.
Yeah.
But yeah, so dad had come off his bike and he's got this brain injury.
He's then lost his job.
His wife now wants to divorce him.
I come home with the news of the assault.
And the only guilt I felt through the entire assault saga was the guilt of like adding more weight to my dad's life.
So it took me to have like the whole thing under control before I was prepared to tell dad.
I was like, I made sure I'd made a statement by this point.
I'd seen a therapist, had some time of work.
I'd collected myself before I could comfortably go to dad and say, you know, here's what's happened, but it's, it's under control.
And, and, and, you know, he, he reacted like quite angry, angrily and, and, and I just kind of felt really bad for, you know, basically adding, adding the pressure that he was under.
His anger was directed at, at Tim, I'm assuming?
Yeah, for sure.
And what happened to you.
Yeah, absolutely.
But that meant that like during that period of time, you know, the divorce is kind of, you know, the environment that our family is living in.
And dad comes to me a third time.
