Rich Ruinen

54-year-old curler Rich Ruinen became the oldest person to compete for the United States at the Winter Olympics.

Ruinen entered the Americans' round-robin match against Switzerland on Thursday with the U.S.

down 8-2.

Ruinen is a personal injury lawyer and the six-time winner of Minnesota Attorney of the Year.

Ruinen told the Associated Press that he spends Thursday through Sunday at curling tournaments, where he has with him a collared shirt and tie so that he can handle hearings on Zoom.
