which is, I just think it's magic, is I actually have learned, because all my boundaries, I mean, I had no boundaries from the childhood abuse.
That was one of my problems.
I couldn't respect other people's boundaries when I was in relationships because I didn't have any.
They'd been taken away from me.
So I would just walk over people's boundaries all the time.
A really bad habit of mine.
Not now.
But one of the things in my healing journey was I learned to have a, I got a boundary for the first time.
So now I actually have more male friends.
I am not scared of men.
I'm hypervigilant, unfortunately, all the time.
So I don't sleep well.
I hurt my hearing.
I'm on hyper alert all the time.
I've learned to live with it.
But I've learned that if I feel like a man is threatening me, sometimes it triggers my trauma.
But sometimes I can just walk away or say expletives like I get angry.
So I'm not perfect.
But I have learnt that I've learnt how to look after myself.
Well, you know, after all of that, in my 50s, because I was always a runner before this even happened, I took up sport when I stopped smoking.
