I'd started going to Women's Liberation and I'd gone, there had been a homosexual, that was the word then,
There weren't many people.

And I just felt like I'd become part of a community.
I found my tribe and I was happy.
I suddenly thought, oh, it's okay to be a lesbian.
It's okay.
Scream and shout.
So I was hoarse by the time I got to King's Cross.
I just screamed out up the lesbos.
All the time.
Because I just suddenly felt, I'm a lesbian, yay, like this is cool.
Up the lezzos.
Yeah, up the lezzos.
And then people don't realise that when we ended up at L.A.
La Main Fountain, basically it had fizzled out.
We just stood there, oh, well, it's all over.
