Well, first of all, Ryan Johnson, really busy these days.

He's got a lot of openings to fill.

He has interviewed some agents.

One agent he talked with was about the assistant GM role.

The agent has asked me not to release his name.

I have to respect his wishes.

He's a sharp guy who would have helped the Canucks, but

He's got a business that he doesn't want to leave right now.

And he, you know, obviously he's making a lot of money and he doesn't want to take a massive pay cut.

Another agent, Darren Hermiston.

He worked for Wasserman.

That's a huge firm that represents Connor McDavid and Austin Matthews.

He's going to be something along the lines of director of player development and player performance.

But he wasn't the agent.

Like, people think agents just handle guys making $4 million, $5 million, $6 million.

they have people that work with the kids.

So Hermiston worked with kids in Bantam, getting them ready for the Western Hockey League.

He would then get junior players ready for the National Hockey League.

So he knows player development.
