San Jose State, of course, a institution, a university in California, shocker, allowed a man to take a scholarship, a roster spot, a travel spot from a hardworking, deserving female athlete. It became public knowledge that this athlete was a male, and we saw universities begin to forfeit. We saw five universities do so.

Utah State, University of Utah, Boise State, University of Wyoming, and University of Nevada. But I want to mention Boise State in particular because they made it to the Mountain West Conference Championship, which is outside of the NCAA tournament. It's the pinnacle of their sport.

They were set to compete against San Jose State University, and they decided to prematurely in their season forego a bid for the NCAA tournament when they decided to forfeit against San Jose State, which... is incredibly commendable.

These girls, they told me, they said, look, you know, we know we're accepting a loss, but it's a loss we're willing to accept on our record because we know some things matter more than victory. So while we have not won the war yet, these are certainly little wins along the way. I don't think we would have seen this same type ofโwell, we didn't.

See, I wasn't willing to forfeit in that way two years ago. So it speaks to, I think, the boldness, how courage begets courage, and how people have had enough.

I think for two reasons mainly. Number one is fear. They're terrified of being called some sort of name or being looked at as being on the wrong side of history because that's what the other side does.

They'll say that this is equivalent to the civil rights movement, and if you don't accept trans people in women's spaces, it's equivalent to 60 years ago not accepting black people in white-only spaces. I mean, totally just... insane conclusions that they're drawing here. But secondly, I believe it's money. That's fairly obvious.

I think once you start to look, Governor DeWine, for example, of Ohio, of course, this is a man who has an R by his name. He ended up vetoing HB 68, the SAFE Act, which would prevent men from competing in women's sports. And it would also ban these surgical and chemical operations and treatments that children were receiving at the hands of medical professionals.

But it came out later that he received $40,000 from Cincinnati Children's Hospital, which is a small price to pay.

Yeah, it's really sick stuff. But what we've seen, again, whether it's corporate America, whether it's our government, whether it's these academic institutions, it doesn't matter. They don't necessarily follow red or blue. They follow green. And that's been made very clear. And so I think they'll continue to go where the free market goes.
