It is a joy to be here. What a movement, really, you have and your team have been able to build. And we saw the impact that you've had on November 5th. So truly a blessing to be here. Just did a bunch of meet and greets with the students, which is the most revitalizing thing. It just reminds me why we fight the fight. So always a joy to work alongside you.
Well, amen. And Riley, we're doing more and more on college campuses together. Talk about that.
Yeah, well, gosh, over the past maybe two years, I've been on upwards of 80 different college campuses with Turning Point chapters. So it's, yeah. It's no joke. It's everything from your traditionally very liberal institutions like Harvard and Princeton and Cal Berkeley, but really everything in between to small private Christian schools. And so it's been awesome, especially over the past year, to see just how the reception and the willingness to engage that I have seen personally from students. This whole idea of being a closeted conservative on a college campus, I believe, is certainly fading. And, again, largely to thank because of Turning Point and what you guys have been able to do.
Well, and so, Riley, you got thrust into this fighting for something very simple, female sports that should not have men in female sports. Like, what a concept, right? Not complicated. Where do you think we stand on this? Because I'll be honest, we're still seeing these maddening stories. We haven't won this battle yet. No. Can you walk through the San Jose State volleyball thing? Give us a state of the kind of women's sports situation.
Yeah, this feels very timely, even given this week we saw President of the NCAA Charlie Baker testify before the Senate. There were some pretty strong lines of questioning that we saw from Senator Hawley, Senator Kennedy, Senator Blackburn. But the state of things now, you mentioned the San Jose State University debacle that has been ongoing in the sport of women's volleyball. San Jose State, of course, a institution, a university in California, shocker, allowed a man to take a scholarship, a roster spot, a travel spot from a hardworking, deserving female athlete. It became public knowledge that this athlete was a male, and we saw universities begin to forfeit. We saw five universities do so.
Utah State, University of Utah, Boise State, University of Wyoming, and University of Nevada. But I want to mention Boise State in particular because they made it to the Mountain West Conference Championship, which is outside of the NCAA tournament. It's the pinnacle of their sport. They were set to compete against San Jose State University, and they decided to prematurely in their season forego a bid for the NCAA tournament when they decided to forfeit against San Jose State, which... is incredibly commendable.
