Yeah.
You have to be really like shameless, I think, and fearless to be able to live in that way.
I'm still kind of learning.
I mean, eight years is in the grand scheme of my life a long time.
But I know people that have 44 fucking years without a drug or drink.
And I'm like, liar, how do you do that?
Wow.
But every day that I do it, I'm like, it kind of does get easier.
Kinda.
There are some days.
I mean, this year I lost my mom, so it's been like a fucking nightmare.
I wake up every day forgetting, and then I remember, and it's like, ugh.
My stomach hurts for you.
I'm so sorry.
It's the worst.
It's the worst thing that's ever happened to me or anyone in my family.
And she, of course, was the only one that was untouched by addiction.
Like, maybe shopping addiction.
But she doesn't have, like, the drug thing.
She was an angel on earth, and, like...
