And that's... We'll talk about the confession here in a little while.
I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I'll share mine with you in a minute.
But, like, I didn't know wrestling was fake for a long time.
I thought my dad went and these guys the flame and, you know, Jody Hamilton was trying to kill my dad and all kinds of stuff.
So I had a rough childhood.
But I also didn't realize...
For one thing, when I was young, I was not allowed to know a lot about the wrestling business.
So I had no idea it was scripted and how it was written and how it was booked and all of that.
So I had no idea that my dad was booking the shows when I was watching them.
I just knew that he was wrestling on them and he kind of kept us at arm's length for the business.
But once I learned that, oh, he was kind of doing all that, you know, and booking and working with Ron and Robert,
I didn't really ever get to hear that perspective on my father until he passed.
And Robert and Ron and Jimmy Golden did a podcast on the Stud Stable or whatever his podcast is, Tennessee Stud.
And they talked about my dad like he was their friend.
And I may cry telling you this.
I don't care.
was the first time I ever heard people talk about my father, like a peer and like a, like a man, like a brother, like a friend.
Cause I always just looked up to him and admired him.
He was the, he was the hero in my, in my life and on my television.
And so they talked about him like a peer and it gave me a whole new, uh, perspective on my father.
