You got to throw some stuff at the wall, man.

And some of it's going to stick and some of it ain't.

I would beg to differ.

They had no idea when they put me and Billy together that it was going to catch on like it did.

They had no idea that when they let The Rock kind of unleash The Rock a little bit, that he was going to turn into who he is today.

That stuff, you got to throw at the wall and try.

And so...

It has to be a variety show, and you got to try some stuff.

And look, that goes for the wrestlers and the writers, is you got to try some stuff and be willing to fail and go out on a limb and try different things because you don't know which one little stupid thing you and your buddy talked about on the way to the show that day that's going to catch on and is the next viral thing everybody's doing or whatever, you know what I mean, or whatever catches fire.

And so...

Try, try, try.

Fail, fail, fail.

Go out on a limb so far that it breaks and you bust your ass.

Get back up there and do it again.

You know what I mean?

Like everybody today in the wrestling world wants to be so tough and wants to be such a badass that then nobody is tough and nobody is a badass.

And so please give me a Chelsea Green.

Please give me a, uh, you know, Santino Morella, you know what I mean?

Or who, whoever the comedy guy of the day is, please give me all of that because we can't all be the champion.

And, uh, you know, at somebody's hall of fame speech, they said like, if you don't want to be the champion, then you shouldn't be in this business.
