So all of a sudden, at the end of the period, Oilers are up 2-1.
I don't remember either goal, but I know they went deep in the second.
I think so.
I think that of all the teams and all the scenarios that the Oilers could have had, I think this one works out best for the Oilers.
There's teams that I've seen the Oilers play now for, this is my 20th year.
So there's teams that they struggle against and there's teams that just fit their eye.
And Anaheim is a team that gives up a lot of chances.
And the Oilers are one of the top offensive teams in the National Hockey League.
Anaheim takes a lot of penalties, and they're not very good at killing them.
Well, the Oilers have the best power play in the National Hockey League.
So to me, this suits the way that the Oilers play.
The Oilers and Anaheim both, I think, of the eight worst defensive teams in the NHL.
Two of them are playing in this series.
The other six aren't playing in the playoffs.
So both these teams have been able to outscore their mistakes during the regular season.
But we know because we've seen the last two playoff years, the Edmonton Oilers are able to find a defensive game in the playoffs.
They're able to win a 2-1 or a 3-2 hockey game.
I don't know if Anaheim can.
So for me, this is a series that the Oilers should be heavily favored in, and it would take an incredible effort by Dostel and Nett for Anaheim to keep these close.
Anaheim can score, but I don't know if they can stop the Oilers, and I certainly don't know if they can stop the Oilers on the power play.
