The snowfall rates have been ridiculous, between 2 and 5 inches an hour.
I'm seeing totals now east of Islip, Long Island, at around 27, 28 inches of snow.
We've seen Providence, Rhode Island, get 2 feet of snow this morning.
They may get over 28 inches of snow from this storm.
The central pressure has dropped 41 millibars in less than 24 hours.
So when you hear meteorologists talk about, you know, a bomb cyclone, usually that's 24 millibars in 24 hours.
So this has exceeded that.
It's almost doubled it.
And that's why we've had such ferocious winds.
We've had reports of gusts of over 80 miles an hour now on Nantucket.
And the fact that it's been snowing in parts of southeastern New England at four to five inches an hour, it's just, that's epic.

It looks like totals in New York are going to be many locations up or over foot to as high as 16, 17 inches.
Long Island, it's going to be 20 to 26 inches from this storm.
