I remember I came up to the audience in a little scooter and I put tinsel on the scooter just to make it a bit more.
So I suppose she was always there, now that I think of it, actually.
And, yeah, that was Widow Twankey in Rialto Rite Group and then the following year I got the Olympia Panto Dame.
Then I was kind of like, oh, there's something.
You were very young.
Very young.
Probably 19.
Speaking of age, I wasn't being seen for the audition for Buffy because of my age.
I was 24.
My agent submitted and we were rejected.
And then a friend, a typical Ireland, a friend of a friend, you know, rang Alan Hughes and said, come here, you need to see Rob Murphy.
I worked with him on a show.
He emceed a show for me.
He's hilarious with the audience.
You need to see him.
And Alan Hughes said, tell him to come by at half one.
So I walked into Tivoli and all these panto dames, the appropriate age panto dames, okay, were all outside there in their lines and all that.
And I walked in and I just remember I sang a parody song and I did audience interaction with the plain seats.
There was nobody sitting in the seats.
