Because the reason for the hybrid powertrain is to lead road cars.
And once you say our powertrains don't need and the technology doesn't need to lead road cars, then just make it entertainment.
Yep.
And you have to do that without losing the manufacturers because the manufacturers want Formula One technology to lead what's coming in road cars.
No, no, no.
I definitely don't.
But that's not how manufacturers look at the sport.
We're in it to develop our technology and tell the story that a little bit of Formula 1 went into that car.
Because a big part of the entertainment to me was the noise.

What was your first memory of hearing that noise?
My first memory was I couldn't see the car because it was coming down the straight.
This is in Detroit.
And it was a long straight with a 90-degree left-hander.
And I could hear the car, and I'm thinking, just through the noise, there's no way they're going to make that turn.
There's no way.
They're all going off.
And what astounded me was a braking performance and actually braking so late.
So first the noise, then late braking, and actually every one of them made that turn.
