So then, Illinois, these were the big, to me, the emo bands. Fall Out Boy came from there. The Academy is Plain White Tees. The audition, the hush sound. 504 Plan was one of the lesser known but earlier versions of this music. Like 504 Plan members, one of them ended up joining Panic! at the Disco. Another one joined The Academy Is.

So the guy from 504 Plan, like I just saw Spittlefield two months ago and he's playing with Spittlefield on their 20 year reunion tour. Holy shit. Yeah. I still talk to a lot of these people. It meant a lot.

And working at that record shop was this guy, Johnny, that he, in I think high school, started a record label called Little League Records, put out the Academy's first record, put out a Gatsby's American Dream record, which is Kirk's band. You talked to him. He's like a big A&R guy now.
