So the other question we ask every guest is what is your favourite colour?

I was always obsessed with Cindy Lauper when she did Girls Just Want to Have Fun the second time round when she did a kind of reggae version of it or something.

And she had canary yellow hair, but her hair was like an artwork.

And I was obsessed with her like canary yellow and that idea of like the seaside or like Coney Island.

And what is the best advice you've ever received?

Well, in terms of your creativity, where did your mind go?

Yeah.

And it also sounds like don't be scared to evolve.

You know what I mean?

Because sometimes you can get quite fixed in your idea of what you are as an artist, but actually you need to stay open to new ideas or even to things you haven't quite accessed yet within yourself.
