And I thought that was so interesting when thinking about Ava's installations and work.
Yeah, but also like I read something that you had noticed from opening the gallery there, which was about family and community in terms of like groups of friends or families will actually go to museums and private galleries en masse.
Like it's not as individual, a kind of like in New York, there's loads of people that just go to the museums or galleries on their own.
you know, as a kind of individualistic experience, which is totally valid and wonderful, because I guess that gives them some sense of community or connection, because if they are by themselves.
But in Mexico, there seems to be this communal support for art and for culture that's so ingrained within the society.
And I loved that you'd noticed that, because when I read that, I was like, that is such a good description.
And that's also why I think it's led to all these incredible restauranteurs
And I know there's a lot of probably inequality to do with that, but I'm talking about even just like amazing taco places like this, all kinds of amazing street food and the way that you see people coming together to eat and commune.
But then that's also a regular thing is visiting art or experiencing culture.
So if you think of your role as a gallerist as being a kind of protector for artists, I mean, they don't always need protecting because other times they might need, I don't know, nurturing in a different way.
But I was really interested in thinking about protecting their legacies, you know, in the future.
I've heard you describe yourself as a person from the future.
Your response is, I'm from the future, which is such a great answer.
But I was thinking about the future and longevity of building careers, because obviously you've helped to introduce artists that didn't have a history of being collected by museums.
And your location in both Mexico City, Paris and Chicago, there's amazing museums in all of those cities, particularly in Chicago as well.
It's a really rich kind of cultural institution base.
