In relation to Eddie Hutch, we spoke about earlier on, the Monk's brother, he was shot dead three days after Regency Hotel.
A number of people were arrested initially as part of the investigation.
One of them was re-arrested, effectively a chief suspect in the murder.
And that re-arrest, you can only re-arrest someone if you have new information that comes to light in relation to the same offence.
My understanding is that part of that new evidence, at least, was these encrypted messages.
That's only two cases we know about where prosecutions are being advanced and investigations are being advanced.
And I'd be very surprised if there aren't further prosecutions brought against the actual hitmen on foot of these encrypted messages.
I think inadvertently, whether he knows or not, he has helped the state's case in some way against Kinahan.
Our understanding is that a lot of weight against Daniel Kinahan, the evidence against him, is fixed on those encrypted messages.
He's obviously never hands-on in these crimes.
He's, you know, directing...
but he's never actually at the scene.
You know, Sean McGovern was involved in a really on-the-ground role in surveillance, in, you know, tracking.
For Daniel Kinnan, the evidence isn't there.
It's more so in the crypto messages.
We have evidence of Sean McGovern on the phone using this word knife, and by his guilty plea, he's accepted that he is knife.
He's accepted that evidence against him on those crypto messages, that's him.
That will feature, I'd imagine, in the prosecution against Daniel Kinnan when he comes back here.
So that certainly does help the state's case in saying that, look, one of your close lieutenants who we say you were in contact with, he's accepted that this is him.
He's accepted the evidence against him.
