Clement doesn't deserve a summer even though that he'd probably get an upturn in performances and results Michael Biel a lot of people had questioned March saying should he go into the next season and ultimately the club stood by both their managers and by Halloween both of them were gone
And I think there's an element of scar tissue there for Rangers fans that they feel that they have doubts over Danny Rowe.
And if they do give him the summer, that by Christmas time he'll no longer be here.
Will the Rangers hierarchy feel that way?
I don't think so.
I think Danny Rowe will be the Rangers manager next year.
But you asked about question marks, there'll definitely be question marks.
No and to be honest Gordon even when Rangers went on a run of what was it two or three months unbeaten on our Danny Rowe I've always been pretty consistent in the sense that I don't think they're a great side I don't think they have a style of play I think they're in between about four and I think it gets showed up on them when it comes to the bigger games
and like he says I mean if that's Rangers being great in the 45 minutes I think that was the term that Ian used then I mean like we said after the maybe the 20-25th minute I thought they had loads of control in the game they allowed hearts absolutely nothing
but they never offered anything other than their goal.
I mean, their goal comes from a long throw that deflects to the edge of the box, and the other two chances within the game come from set pieces.
From open play, to me, they don't look as if they have a plan on how to unlock teams, how to get the ball to the final third, and then to create chances when they're in the final third.
And for me, that's why they've came unstuck on a lot of occasions this year.
How does it feel to have the title hopes ended tonight, Ian?
Yeah, undoubtedly.
And I think this creeps up quite a lot when it comes to Rangers, granted because the lack of trophies you've had over a number of years is it's always down to mentality.
And I've always kind of defended that, but I think, listen, when you're going into a split where everyone felt like you had to win at least four of the five games and you fault on the first two hurdles and you go from what's a three-way title race, it's gone down to the last season, it's going to be between all three,
Well, do you know what?
I was going to pose the question, David, that we spoke about at the top of the show and we spoke about both managers and I mentioned that one thing that Derek McInnes probably doesn't get enough credit for is the amount of in-game changes he makes that changes a game.
So that's whether it's half-time or the 60th, the 70th, the 80th, the 90th minute that...
