But things that were once taboo often eventually go mainstream.

And the saxophone was no exception.

Instead of remaining a symbol of rebellion, it began to ripple out into a variety of genres.

After the break, Jay is going to play us some of his favorite novelty saxophones from Paul Cohen's Saxophone Museum.
