The only thing that the post-Ferguson era has proved for Manchester United is that there's no right way of making the appointment.
Like they've hired the interim guy in Solskjaer.
They've gone for the, you know, Ranić sort of a profile.
They've gone for the Amram kind of a profile.
Moyes, the fellow who's doing well at a lower club and trying to transpose it.
And none of them has worked.
So, I mean, I don't even, it's hard to know what they're even thinking about this.
If it's not Carrick.
The one that I think is really interesting is Iriola.
Like he's doing an incredible job.
And then it just came out that he's going to be leaving at the end of the season.
And that seemed a little bit kind of suspicious.
I would be very surprised if he didn't pop up at Chelsea or Manchester United at the end of this season.
But that was in the pipeline.
I can't believe they haven't gone for Zidane.
He would seem the most.
But he's the most institutional, like Real Madrid institutional figure.
I think he's said, no, I'm done.
I can't go back to this.
Is it wrong that part of me really wants this to happen and for Real Madrid to win the Champions League under Mourinho?
