But stuff like, I thought, for example, I thought I would be really bad at it.
I have, like one of my sisters has been a carer all her life since she was a teenager.
And that's her career and, you know, all of that.
She's been looking after adults with mental and physical disabilities all of our lives.
And so I've seen her, you know, she's incredible, whatever, and all of that.
And I always thought that I'd be really bad at this.
I thought I was going to be really bad.
I thought I was going to let the side down, that my other brothers and sisters are going to be so good at this and I'm going to be terrible at it.
But actually, it turns out I was pretty good at it, partly because I quite enjoy nonsense.
And so some of the others would get upset when Dad was talking only nonsense.
But I'd be, I'm perfectly happy to say, right, oh, I saw that elephant, you know, last night as well.
Whatever, whatever nonsense.
I just find that all quite amusing.
And then the other stuff, toilet and all of that, you know, it's like anything.
Someone shows you how to do it and you feel weird and uncomfortable about it at first and then you just get over it.
And it is what it is.
Now, it probably did help that, you know, I don't know if I would be able to feel quite the same if it was my mother.
There is a son thing.
And, you know, my dad would say very inappropriate things sometimes.
But even doing the toilet stuff and everything, he had a kind of a childlike innocence about him now.
