He was involved with charity work.

He was it really seemed he battled his demons of the drugs and alcohol problems when he was playing.

And in fact, like an hour before supposedly he passed away, he was on a charity stop where he was delivering pizzas to the to needy, hungry people and to some of the homeless.

And that's what is just so disturbing and troubling about this and sad is he seemed like he was on the right path.

We saw all the talent, right?

People saw it up and close when he was at Mizzou and then blossomed when he got to the NFL as a feared pass rusher, but just had some demons that he was battling.

And it appeared in recent years he had his life turned around, and we don't know the cause of death.

We don't know what happened.

But that's the tragic part about this, is it appeared that his life was on the right path.

And even, again, an hour before he passed away, he was doing something to help the community.

Correct.

That still has not come out publicly, and I'm sure we will find out, but...

You can't help but speculate and you just hope that it was natural causes, that there was something wrong, that he didn't go down a wrong path again, which he had been down earlier in his career.

Well, he is trying to burn every piece of that reputation on his way out the door, isn't he?

With the way he has handled this.

And how dare the 49ers give him all this money and invest in him?

And look.

The Niners have played this publicly very cautiously because they know he is an asset.
