They're hoping, as you pointed out, somebody will give up something to get Brandon Ayuk.

But the frustrating thing is the Niners invested in him.

They had to make a decision that they couldn't keep both Devo Samuel and Brandon Ayuk.

And they went with Ayuk, who seemed to be the number one type receiver, more of a playmaker than...

Debo Samuel was, even though the versatility, but Debo was getting up in years, and the injuries started to catch up with him.

And even through tearing the ACL, the Niners stood by Brandon Ayuk, and then he's just come out and trashed them at every single turn, which is really perplexing, considering they gave him all this money.

They invested in him.

They let him know, hey, you're our future.

And then he's torched everything the 49ers have done for him, and that's the disturbing thing.

for the 49ers, and now the value keeps going down because everybody else knows they have to sever ties.

They have to get rid of them at some point.

And that's why teams have been reluctant to give up anything.

They're just waiting for Brandon Ayuk to throw some more gasoline on the fire and make it even a lower asking price.

Who's giving him this advice?

Hey, this is a great idea.

Why don't you do this?

And he just keeps going off and spouting off nonsense and doing just stupid things.

And he's hurting his value, not just on the trade market, but as you pointed out,

If you're another team, whatever team, whether it's the Washington Commanders, who have been a team that has been linked to Brandon Ayuk for some reason, if you're going to make a move, do you really want this guy in your locker room considering what he is doing?

And then what's to prohibit this from happening once you do bring him into the fold?
